The result of the web-poll conducted by Memory Bank reflects 71% majority wants to have a better opposition leader. 28% thinks the other way. 1% voted for ‘no idea’.
I don't think it's time to let go of him yet. I don't like him, I've even accused him of treason, but he's got some good qualities that I don't see among other politicians.
This is the only contemporary politician to have openly stood for free market economics and liberal democratic principles. I wouldn't want him to be elected to office just yet, but there's a lot he can do once the war is over. I don't think any other politician has the balls to go against the unions and privatise the rest of the state-run monsters and bring about the much needed labour and education reforms.
it is time that the leadership of the unp is given to someone who at least has the potential to win an election: Sajith PREMADASA.. the rural masses will vote, just for the name alone!!! Ranil has lost for long enough.
But it not solve the problems, what we face right now. Still I can’t see any political leader, who can show the precise way…

He should stay.
Better conduct another poll like this. "Should I keep this blog? Yes/No" All those who love Kottu will say Yes plus you yourself vote as Yes.
ReplyDeleteDon't let your body do something against your mind. You won't know where you are heading.
Is this the same bloogger, who shouted saying NO MORE Anonymous?
ReplyDeleteIf so, he should stand on his principles, before talking about others
I’m sorry I don’t have time to let you understood simple English – go through that post carefully.
