CISSP exams in Colombo

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a vendor-neutral certification governed by the non-profit International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (commonly known as (ISC)). The (ISC) has certified over 49,000 information security professionals in more than 120 countries. CISSP was the first certification to earn the ANSI accreditation to ISO/IEC Standard 17024:2003, a global benchmark for assessing and certifying personnel. It is formally approved by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) in both their Information Assurance Technical (IAT) and Managerial (IAM) categories. The certification is also endorsed by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) as the benchmark for information security.

CISSP exam is scheduled to be on 1st September 2007 in Sri Lanka & this opens the door for many Sri Lankans to get the opportunity to obtain this globally recognized qualification.

There are limited seats and please register early to avoid disappointment. You can contact Sujit Christy, the Founder/President of iSPA Sri Lanka through his email address sujitchristy@hotmail.com.

But sad to say, they are going to increase the needed work experience on security industry from four to five years. A time ago I also had an idea to take this exam. But due to this problem I have chosen CCSP instead of CISSP.
