Thousands read BBC - out of that very few or no visit my blog - but still, it's worth mentioning this.I am not an expert to say how media should behave when reporting a war. But I am a good observer - I could see how BBC & CNN reported the war in Iraq - the Afghan war -the Israel invasion of Lebanon. All these are news items for them. I am repeating this - all theses are 'just' news items for them. And most of the times they used to take the side of terrorists - or in the words they call those - 'rebels’. When there is an attack in London or Washington - they call it as an act of 'terrorists'. But, when something happened in an Asian country they call those as 'rebels'. Poh...! This is the balanced media the 'most' democratic and 'developed' nations boast about.
Today, BBC - under the section 'South Asia' - highlighted the attack on Thoppigala, which is believed to be the last LTTE bastions in Batticaloa and Ampara districts - and wanted to carry the message that thousands of civilians are fleeing their homes in eastern province and the government is responsible for this. Hey, the brave BBC correspondent who reported this - didn't you witness how many innocent civilians are kept as a human shield by the LTTE - didn't you notice how many innocent Tamil children being recruited to LTTE by force. Take off the coverings from your eyes - try to report the reality - not what you make.

They do shell the villages and let the innocent civilians to flee to government controlled areas...

Dear friend... I was wondering whether to reply this or not. Thought once, twice and more... finally... decided not to reply. If I start... I may go into pages...But why... why should I spend my valuable time on something that has no value... written by a person with no identity. Yes indeed it's of no value in trying to convince the reality to a person with blind eyes.. who refuses to accept what he sees.
