NO free LUNCH, BUT WiFi

Today, around 5.40 in the afternoon I left the office, heading home - Maharagama. Fortunately [very rarely...] I was not on the driving seat and we took 120 route [Colombo - Piliyandala] to avoid traffic. I had my laptop with me and while we were around Pamankada - I thought to take it out to go through few stuff that could not finish at office. And, to my surprise I could detect few wireless connections when the machine booted up. Initially it was 3 or 4 - and the amount kept on increasing. From Pamankada to my home - I could detect more than 40 wifi hotspots.Most of them were password secured - but there were around 15 wireless connections which were not secured. While moving slowly in the traffic - I also could login to few and surf the net as well. Even some secured connections were protected with very weak passwords and with few tries I could enter into some of them. Wifi hotspot density was quite high near Kohuwala and Pepiliyana junctions.
